Yong is from an indigenous tribe, has a wife and three kids. His wife, pregnant with their fourth kid had to stay at home and take care of their kids and was therefore not able to work. Yong was the sole breadwinner working as a laborer in a construction company and later hospitalized for lung abscess leading to an income loss. The Foundation repeatedly offered the family emergency relief funds to alleviate their economic stress and gifted their kids with toys and books. Currently Yong has recovered and got back to work to provide for his family.
