Animal-shaped pancakes

Jan 17.2020 | Economic Self-Sufficiency

Dong used to have a food truck business selling animal-shaped pancakes. One car accident took away everything: the truck and the cake making equipment were all damaged and himself and his wife were both injured. After a few months, the couple had gradually recovered from the accident, then borrowed some money from friends for a second-hand truck ready to get back to business. But with the loan, they still could not afford to buy new cake making equipment. The Foundation thus stepped in and helped him with funds to purchase all the equipment, food ingredients and make the business sign and price listing. Dong’s business is now up and running again.
