Gui’s parents used have a stand selling things in the night market, but their business went on a drastic decline in recent years and were no longer able to pay for Gui’s tuition fees and everyday expenses. Due to his family conditions, Gui had stopped taking money from his family but supported himself with part-time teaching and scholarships, which were not really much. The Foundation hence started to support him till he graduated from university, passed national exams to become a qualified doctor and successfully turn his life around.
