Sun was not able to work due to her cancer treatment, leaving her finances in shambles, during which time, the Foundation repeatedly offered her emergency financial aid, supplies, mid-autumn and lunar new year gift packs, and rice. After attending the government’s occupation training, Sun has now returned to the job market and landed a sales position in a hypermarket near her home, able to support herself financially.
