On the 7th, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with Evergreen Plaza Hotel to host a New Year’s charity feast in Tainan, inviting 340 individuals from disadvantaged families and 18 social welfare organizations to join in the festive celebration. The event was attended by Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-Che, Deputy Director of Tainan’s Social Affairs Bureau Ye Zhi-Ming, Chairman of Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Daniel Wu, General Manager of Evergreen Plaza Hotel Chen Yen-Ming, and Vice General Manager Wei Yu-Feng.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation and Mandarin Daily News co-hosted the “ Be Your Wings” creative contest, drawing over 2,000 participants from across Taiwan, inspired by song lyrics, the contest encouraged expressions of gratitude toward those who helped overcome challenges. The 2024 award ceremony “Be Your Wings” Contest was held on December 21 at the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation International Conference Hall, showcasing 81 winning works. Attendees included

To address aging population challenges and limited healthcare access in rural areas, Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation has collaborated with the Digital Humanitarian Association and WaCare Telehealth for four consecutive years. Through digital technology, professional medical resources are extended to rural seniors, enabling them to receive healthcare services from home.

Committed to supporting vulnerable groups, Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation invited residents from Shin-Deng Home and Faith, Hope & Love Academy to participate in the EVA Air Marathon. This event was not just a sports competition but a powerful display of resilience and inclusion.

Due to their long-term commitment to these charitable endeavors, the Foundation has once again been recognized by the Ministry of Education with an Award for Contributions to Education.
