On the 7th, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with Evergreen Plaza Hotel to host a New Year’s charity feast in Tainan, inviting 340 individuals from disadvantaged families and 18 social welfare organizations to join in the festive celebration. The event was attended by Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-Che, Deputy Director of Tainan’s Social Affairs Bureau Ye Zhi-Ming, Chairman of Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Daniel Wu, General Manager of Evergreen Plaza Hotel Chen Yen-Ming, and Vice General Manager Wei Yu-Feng.

Most illnesses heal with recovery, but burn survivors face a long rehabilitation. This includes physical recovery—treatments, surgeries, and scar management—as well as psychological rebuilding, such as emotional adjustment for both patients and families, self-reconstruction, and regaining confidence. Recovery can take years before they return to normal life.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the team from the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation once again visited the Christian Born Anew Fellowship's Hualien Faith, Hope, and Love Youth Academy, reuniting with the children. They spent time chatting, sharing life experiences, and supporting each other. The children also prepared piano performances, guitar class songs, and judo demonstrations, fostering interaction and providing mutual support and encouragement.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, in collaboration with Evergreen Plaza Hotel and Taiwan Sugar Corporation, organized a "Winter Joyous Gathering, Warm Memories of Love and Sustainability - Charity Caring Banquet" on January 23rd at Evergreen Plaza Hotel. Over 300 people from low-income households and various charitable organizations in Tainan attended the event, which aimed to provide care through tangible actions.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation donated a vehicle to the Yunlin County Little Angels Development Association, which supports children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Chairman Daniel Wu presented the vehicle to Chairman Chang Wei-Zhong, with Director Lin Wen-Zhi of Yunlin's Social Affairs Department. Mandy families benefiting from the association’s services also present.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation and Changhua Veterans Home co-hosted the "Evergreen’s Love Soars, Veterans Home's Art Inspires" exhibition on the 19th. Attendees included Veterans Affairs Vice Chairman Wu Zhi-Yang, Changhua Veterans Home Director Shi Hao-Cheng, Tianzhong Town Mayor Xiao Shu-Fen, and Foundation Chairman Daniel Wu.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation's Anti-Drug Drama Train continued its tour, performing at Er Cheng Elementary School in Yilan on the 29th, following its debut at Wanli Elementary School. Due to the positive response, nearly 400 students and teachers from nearby schools joined the event.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, in partnership with the Pingtung County Government's Department of Education and the Flying Life Association of Christ, has launched a series of six anti-drug education campaigns. These events will take place at various schools in Pingtung County, including Hengchun Junior High, Lai Yi Senior High, and others. The initiative uses 3D films and interactive Q&A sessions to educate students about the dangers of drugs and encourage them to resist temptation.

Since 2007, Evergreen Plaza Hotel has supported disadvantaged charitable organizations through its "Charity Day" events at the Tasting the World Buffet Restaurant.

Taoyuan Shin-Deng Home for the Disabled has served adults with intellectual disabilities for over 30 years. Due to limited public transportation and aging vehicles, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation donated a new transport van. On December 20, Shin-Deng Home for the Disabled held the " Joyful Ride, Warm Hearts: New Van Donation Ceremony." Attendees included Chairman Daniel Wu, founder Chiu Mei-Ji, Chairman You Dong-Yang, and Chief Secretary Tsai Yi-Ru. The event featured a Taiko drum performance, followed by the unveiling of the new vehicle, named "Chang An" , symbolizing safety and happiness for all.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, aiding underprivileged families, recognizes the severe impact of drugs on individuals and society, especially among students.

To support rural students' reading skills, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation collaborates with the CommonWealth Magazine Education Foundation to donate books, issue reading passports, and organize activities like the Bookmobile tour in Nantou, Penghu, Taitung, and Taoyuan. On December 7th, Chairman Daniel Wu visited Hsia-Yun Elementary, a remote school in Taoyuan with over 98% of its students being Atayal indigenous people for a storytelling event. Students warmly welcomed the team with Atayal folk songs, showcasing their naturally excellent singing voices, filling the valley with melodious tunes.
