Our hard work shall persist and let’s hope the same incident will not happen again.” Wu Sheng-Wen, Secretary-General of the Victims Association of the Taiwan 627 Water Park Fire, stated, “Without your help, the city heroes, I don’t know what would have happened to the injured and their families.” Wu along with four directors of the association went on stage and took a bow in tribute to the city heroes, enterprises, civilian groups and everyone else that has helped with the victims.

As skin donation is quite important to the clinical treatment for those suffering from burns and scalds. Tai Hao-Chih, director of the Center for Plastic Surgery at National Taiwan University Hospital, was on stage appealing for skin donation. The concert began with a dual performance of Chen Qing-Xuan playing on her drum kits and Lai Si-Yu, oboe. Both were injured in the water park fire. JJ Lin was also at the concert performing the song that he wrote for the injured victims, I pray For You, and sang Amazing Grace and You Raise Me Up together with the emerging opera singer, Melody Yang. The concert culminates with Selina Ren’s rendition of Everyone that loves me. Selina shared her experience of recovering from her burn injuries and got the entire audience to sing along with her. She encouraged the victims and their families to stay strong, keep faith and run with their dreams. The concert ended with laughter and tears of uplifting emotions.

The 2015 New Taipei Water Park Fire prompted Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation to make a donation of NT$20 million. To keep the positive energy going, the Foundation funded the concert in tribute to all those involved, stating, “We are happy to see these injured victims courageously face up to their hardship. We have lots of respect for them. Though recovery might take a long time, we shall be with them every step of the way. Taiwan is a warm loving society.” "
