Taiwan Indigenous People's Sustainable Development Association of Tainan

Aug 24.2021 | Closing the Distance Between Cities and Rural Areas, Love Never Stops

After the pandemic alert was relaxed, the Foundation visited the Taiwan Indigenous People's Sustainable Development Association of Tainan to check on the students in after-school classes who recently restarted their lessons physically. On hearing that the students did not pause their learning and continued with their online summer lessons despite stopping going to school, the Foundation chairman, Wu Jing-Ming, was impressed with the students’ earnest attitude and gave his thumb up saying, “Despite the pandemic’s blow to all businesses, the Foundation shall keep on giving their love and support to the students so that they can grow and learn.” "

This is the Foundation’s fifth consecutive year sponsoring the Association’s after-school classes hoping to bridge the learning gap among the disadvantaged indigenous school children in the city through after-school lessons and support, while offering them healthy meals and sound learning environments to help them have a better shot at a bright future.
