Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Anti-Drug Drama Train Arrives at Yilan Schools, Spreading Anti-Drug Awareness

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation's Anti-Drug Drama Train continued its tour, performing at Er Cheng Elementary School in Yilan on the 29th, following its debut at Wanli Elementary School. Due to the positive response, nearly 400 students and teachers from nearby schools joined the event. Yilan County Government Commissioner Huang Zhihong, Section Chief Lin Qi from the Education Bureau, and Chairman Daniel Wu of the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation attended to show support for the anti-drug cause.

The Foundation's anti-drug drama, " Time-Traveling Against Drugs " was performed by the Shuiyuan Village Drama Troupe. The play follows Lin Zexu, a Qing Dynasty anti-drug official, on time-traveling adventures. Using a mix of real and fictional characters, it creatively promotes drug awareness and instills positive values in students.

Lin Qi, Chief of the Yilan County Education Bureau's Diverse Education Section, emphasized that combating drugs requires collective effort. She praised the foundation's drama tour as an educational advocacy initiative and hoped it could expand to more schools and communities to raise drug prevention awareness and promote a safer, more harmonious environment in Yilan.

Chairman Wu of the Foundation, highlighted the foundation's ongoing support for vulnerable families and its efforts to address drug-related family breakdowns. Noting the susceptibility of students to drug influence, he emphasized the foundation's goal of using engaging drama to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs.

Principal Li Bo-Wen of Er Cheng Elementary School expressed concern over the growing drug problem on campuses, which harms students' health, family harmony, and future development. He urged parents and society to collaborate with schools to create a healthy environment that fosters strong values for children.

In the future, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Anti-Drug Drama Train will continue to tour schools across Taiwan, conveying correct drug prevention concepts, with the hope that everyone can stay away from drugs and embrace a healthy and happy life.
