The Yunlin County Little Angels Development Association provides various services for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, including sensory integration training, music band training, holiday care, and more, to improve their social adaptation and quality of life. However, some children lack transportation independence, creating challenges for pickup and delivery, while the association also needs transportation for product sales, holiday distributions, and band performances.
The association currently has two vehicles, one of which has been over 16 years old, with frequent breakdowns and high maintenance costs, posing safety risks. To ensure the children's safety, a replacement vehicle was urgently needed. Upon learning of this need, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation promptly donated a new vehicle, modified it to meet the association's requirements, and delivered it after passing inspection, hoping it will serve its purpose effectively.
Chairman Wu of the Foundation expressed joy in being able to participate in such a meaningful charity event and expressed hope that the new vehicle, filled with love and care, will become a supportive force for the children's future endeavors, helping them smoothly embark on their learning journey and integrate into society.
Chairman Zhang Wei-Zhong of the Yunlin County Little Angels Development Association expressed sincere gratitude for the support and companionship of the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation. He noted that the new vehicle will provide safer, more convenient transportation for children, expanding the association's services and improving care for children with disabilities.
Director Lin Wen-Zhi of the Social Affairs Department of Yunlin County Government emphasized gratitude for the Foundation’s generous donation. This act not only demonstrates care for vulnerable groups but also showcases corporate social responsibility and concern. He hopes that more people in society will pay attention to welfare in rural areas, allowing the power of goodness to warm every corner of society.
