Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Awarded by the Ministry of Education for Contributions to Education

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation has long collaborated with Taipei Medical University on various public welfare projects, including intergenerational dining, the "Food Sharing and Preparation" (a nutrition and sustainability program), intergenerational co-housing, support for disadvantaged students, mobile clinics in rural areas, and service camps. Due to their long-term commitment to these charitable endeavors, the Foundation has once again been recognized by the Ministry of Education with an Award for Contributions to Education.
The Foundation's intergenerational dining and festive activities foster meaningful interaction between seniors and students, enhancing seniors' social engagement and strengthening their sense of community belonging. The "Food Sharing and Preparation" program not only provides nutritious meals for the elderly but also promotes environmental sustainability. Additionally, the Foundation actively supports medical service teams in delivering healthcare to rural area.
Senior Officer Liu Meng-Fen accepted the award on behalf of the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation. Looking ahead, the Foundation will continue to support vulnerable groups and students, while actively engaging in social welfare initiatives to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), working towards a brighter future for Taiwan.
