Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation & Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) Support Lord Grace Children's Home with Art Exhibition

To help children from the Holy Word Foundation/ Lord Grace Children's Home continue showcasing their talents, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) to bring their recent Taipei exhibition to Keelung. The exhibition, hosted in the spacious lobby of the hotel, provided these children with an opportunity to express themselves through their art, boosting their self-confidence and sharing their dreams with a larger audience.
The opening ceremony featured a performance of the uplifting song "Be Your Wings," sung by the children, inspiring all attendees to face life's challenges with courage. Among the attendees were prominent figures such as Keelung Mayor Hsieh Kuo-Liang, Speaker of the Keelung City Council Tong Zi-Wei, Councilor Han Shi-Yu, and Foundation Chairman Daniel Wu. Their presence emphasized the importance of child welfare.
The exhibition's focus was on the children's art, which expressed their inner worlds and talents. Keelung Mayor Hsieh praised the children’s works as not just artistic creations but reflections of their vibrant imaginations and creativity. The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation was recognized for its continued support of these children’s dreams.
Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) General Manager Chen Jian-Lang emphasized the hotel’s commitment to giving back to the community, using art to bring attention to the potential of disadvantaged children. Executive Director of Holy Word Foundation Xu Hua-Qiang also expressed gratitude for the foundation’s long-term support, which enables them to care for the children and provide essential services.
The event concluded with the children explaining their inspirations and ideas behind their paintings, allowing visitors to connect with their dreams and stories. The paintings will continue to be displayed at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) for public viewing, allowing more people to support the growth and development of these children.
