The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation has partnered with the Taiwan Elite Alliance—a group of Taiwan’s top hotels. Together, they aim to reach social welfare groups across the country, bringing warmth and support to underprivileged communities. The project kicked off with a press event at Farglory Hotel Hualien, featuring touching performances by the Impaired Angels Orchestra and the Arts Promotion Association for the Disabled R.O.C.  Their performances highlighted the strength and spirit of people with disabilities and the value of inclusive support.

The Taiwan Elite Alliance includes 12 well-known hotels such as Evergreen Laurel Hotels (Keelung, Taipei, Taichung), Evergreen Palace Hotel (Chiayi), Evergreen Plaza Hotel (Tainan), Hotel Les Champs, Farglory Hotel Hualien, Formosan Naruwan Hotel & Resort Taitung, Onsen Papawaqa (Taian), Janfusun Resort Hotel, Hotel Cham Cham (Tainan), Harbour 10 Hotel, as well as Carplus Auto Leasing Corporation.  As part of the program, each Alliance hotel will host a monthly charitable event in its local area. Additionally, 10% of proceeds from the sale of hotel vouchers will be donated to eight small social welfare organizations suggested by the Foundation to ensure direct and impactful support.

Daniel Wu, Chairman of the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continuing the mission of the founder, Dr. Chang Yung-Fa, guided by the principle of “treat other people as you would treat yourself.”  Su Hsiao-Fei, Secretary-General of the Elite Alliance and General Manager of Evergreen Palace Hotel Chiayi, announced that 2025 has been designated as the “Year of Public Welfare” for the Alliance, underscoring their long-term dedication to meaningful social impact.

By combining corporate resources and compassion, the Foundation and the Alliance hope to inspire more people to join their cause and help create a more caring and inclusive society.
