“Be Your Wings” Flash Mob Performance at MRT — Children's Voices Deliver Warmth and Hope

To promote charitable engagement through the power of music, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with the Taipei San-Yu Elementary School Choir to stage a flash mob performance at Taipei MRT’s East Metro Mall. Despite rainy and chilly weather, the children’s pure voices and bright smiles warmed the hearts of hundreds of onlookers.
The award-winning choir performed a diverse repertoire of songs in Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and indigenous languages. Highlights included “Be Your Wings” “If I Open the Door” and a dynamic rock rendition of the former, which drew enthusiastic cheers and deeply moved the audience.
Mr. Daniel Wu, Chairman of the Foundation, emphasized that its mission extends beyond financial aid—it also aims to instill hope and confidence. “Everyone can be someone else’s wings,” he remarked. The school principal noted that the performance offered students a powerful lesson in empathy and contribution.
To coincide with the event, the Foundation launched an art exhibition titled “Be Your Wings: Flying with Love, Courage, and Hope.” This exhibition, featuring winning entries from a nationwide competition, was displayed at MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station throughout April and remains available online, presenting countless touching stories of care and perseverance.
