In its ongoing commitment to public welfare, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with the Taiwan Elite Alliance—a coalition of top hotels—to launch the “Journeys of Love, Stays of Hope” charity program.  Its third stop was in Keelung, where the Foundation and Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) held a heartfelt Mother’s Day event on May 4.

Titled “Melody of Love – Happy Mother’s Day”, the event invited children from the Wingless Angels Band, a group of young musicians with physical and mental disabilities, to perform touching musical pieces. The children opened the performance with three songs, including the inspiring “Be Your Wings,” which deeply moved the guests and family members in the audience.

After the performance, the children expressed gratitude to their mothers by giving massages and making custom cakes under the guidance of hotel chefs. Each cake, lovingly decorated, was presented as a heartfelt gift. Many mothers were visibly moved—some even brought to tears by their children’s sincerity and efforts.

Foundation Chairman Daniel Wu remarked, “These performances represent not only talent but the resilience and growth of the children—an expression of their love for their mothers.” Hotel General Manager Chen Chien-Lang also affirmed the hotel’s commitment to supporting future charitable projects for children with disabilities.

This ongoing collaboration between the Foundation and Evergreen Laurel Hotel (Keelung) empowered the children with greater confidence and gave their mothers unforgettable moments of pride and joy.  The day was a celebration of love, honoring all mothers with heartfelt wishes for a joyful Mother’s Day.
