Ahead of Mother’s Day, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation teamed up with the Evergreen Hotel to host a special charity event titled “Bake with Love, Thanks Above” for children in the after-school program of the Warm Breeze Caring Association in Tainan.  Over 40 children, volunteers, and parents enjoyed a fun-filled day of cake-making, creating unique gifts while learning gratitude.

The event took place on May 7th at the Evergreen Plaza Hotel (Tainan). It began with a magical show full of surprises, followed by balloon art and lively dancing led by performers and mascots. The children had fun enjoying music and movement. Heartwarming interactions encouraged even shyest children to express gratitude to their moms, creating touching moments.

Chairman Mr. Daniel Wu of Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation emphasized the vital role of mothers and the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to helping disadvantaged families. Evergreen Hotel actively supported the event by providing facilities and a dedicated culinary team. Evergreen International Corporation Executive Vice President Albert Hsu expressed pride in partnering with the Foundation to create memorable experiences for the children and reiterated their dedication to corporate social responsibility.

The Warm Breeze Caring Association expressed deep gratitude for the meaningful day. One child joyfully said, “This is my first time making a cake, and it’s so much fun! I want to give this beautiful cake to my mom to thank her for taking care of me every day.” Amid laughter and joy, the children happily packed their cakes, their faces glowing with pride and delight.

Both the Foundation and Evergreen Hotel hope this event will continue to spread warmth, love, and gratitude throughout the community.
