Hope We Sow, Joys Will Grow— Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Supports the Launch of “Love Garden” at RuoZhuEr

Sponsored by the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, the “Love Garden” at RuoZhuEr Educational Foundation in Chiayi officially opened on May 12. This green space provides a healing environment where individuals with intellectual disabilities can sow hope and embrace life.
The opening ceremony featured a powerful hand drum performance by the children, showcasing their courage. Attendees included Chiayi County Magistrate Mr. Weng Chang-Liang and Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation Chairman Mr. Daniel Wu, both offering encouragement.
The garden spans approximately 991.74 square meters and features greenhouse cultivation to protect plants while practicing eco-friendly farming methods. The vegetables grown will be used in children’s meals, supporting farm-to-table education. This space also provides residents with meaningful opportunities to connect with nature, engage in hands-on gardening, enhance their sensory experiences and self-care abilities, and reduce stress.
Magistrate Weng praised the Foundation’s full sponsorship and said the garden is a positive influence on the children’s growth. Chairman Wu highlighted the importance of nature for well-being and hopes the garden brings joy and a sense of belonging.
The Foundation will continue supporting RuoZhuEr, hoping the garden becomes a place full of hope and growth, where every child can thrive and shine.
