Public Welfare Meets Technology: Using AI to Make Charity More Impactful
On June 2, 2025, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation joined the forum “Making Charity More Impactful with AI,” hosted by the Better Life Health Promotion Foundation. Chairman Daniel Wu shared how the Foundation, in partnership with the Digital Humanitarian Association, applies AI and telehealth in projects supporting rural seniors and dementia caregivers.
These initiatives use digital platforms to deliver preventive healthcare, connect community sites, and offer online health programs—reducing geographic barriers and easing caregivers’ burden. By integrating data analysis and professional collaboration, the Foundation works to close urban–rural health gaps and promote “Love Without Distance.”
Chairman Wu emphasized that charity should be continuous support, not one-time giving. The Foundation will keep combining technology with compassion to enhance the well-being of vulnerable groups.
