The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation partnered with Yunlin County Social Affairs Department to host the "Big Hands Holding Small Hands: Family Finance Walk Together" financial literacy camp on August 22, targeting vulnerable families with about 30 parents and children. The event featured morning workshops and afternoon parent-child finance games co-designed with the Blackhelpyou Family Financial Company Limited.

Attended by Deputy County Magistrate Hsieh Shu-Ya, Chairman Daniel Wu of the Foundation, and Social Affairs Director Lin Wen-Zhi, sessions taught children earning, saving, and spending via Nicolas Cage's bankruptcy case and a NT$12,000 simulation. Parents learned debt recovery, MBTI decision-making, budgeting tools like the “nine-grid spending reduction method,” and Rule of 72 from founder Wang Pei-Wen.

Chairman Wu stressed that financial literacy fosters long-term stability beyond material aid, with four camps planned nationwide. Many parents later shared that the camp inspired them to reassess their financial planning and sparked their children’s interest in money management, giving them renewed hope for the future.
