As the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, the government has initiated a new campaign to promote LOHAS lifestyles, encouraging people to participate in activities that are good for their physical and mental health, such as nature walks, sports and travel, and to relax and enjoy life.

On 7/29, Ms.You Shu-Chen, the head of Ji'an Township, Hualien County, visited the Chang-Yung Fa Charity Foundation together with Mr. Chou Tse, the head of the Social Affairs Section, Ms. Hsieh Mei-Huei, the head of the Hakka Affairs Office, and Ms. Liu Mei-Chi, the head of the Mortuary Services Office. Ms.You presented a certificate of appreciation to the Foundation for the social assistance and help provided to the people of Ji'an Township.

The Heng-Shan Social Welfare Foundation was established in 2010 to offer therapies that combine body and mind and resources to serve people with mental illness, support them to lead normal lives, and promote public awareness and de-stigmatization of mental illnesses. The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation sponsors operating funds to help with case services, home repair missions, food banks, etc.

Every year in Taiwan, more than a thousand people suffer from spinal cord injuries due to various accidents that cause paralysis of the limbs or lower body, some of them need to use wheelchairs to get around for the rest of their lives, some need to rely on others to help them with their daily lives, and some cannot even return to society and the workplace. This is not only a heavy blow to individuals and families, but also a huge cost to society.

The Tainan Hung-Chia Sanctuary For the Handicapped primarily provides care and accommodation for individuals with severe and profound intellectual disabilities, combined with physical disabilities. The Center's learning desks have been in use for over 20 years and are now worn and damaged. The fire doors are also old and warped, making them difficult to open and close. While there is a need for replacements, but in recent years, fundraising has been challenging due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, making it difficult to update the facilities. To address this need, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation sponsored the purchase of new equipment and recently organized a "Spreading Love and Enhancing Facilities" donation event at the center.

The Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation has been helping disadvantaged families throughout Taiwan for a long time. They found that many children with developmental delays or mental and physical disabilities in rural areas often miss the golden opportunity of early intervention, due to insufficient medical resources for early detection and treatment.

Xiaohu’s life changed course when he fell sick. With the help of a case investigator, Xiaohu got back on his feet and started a new chapter in his life by recreating his late mother's unique smoked and grilled chicken business.

On 2016/2/6 Tainan was struck by a big earthquake, and Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation donated NT$20 million to the Tainan City Government for disaster relief. On 2022/2/22, the Cloud Residence intended for affected people, was completed and inaugurated.

The project team helped solitary senior Mr. Feng, who lives alone, to enjoy basic utilities such as water and electricity. This example has really resonated with people, and many kind-hearted individuals have joined the effort.

The lack of resources to support education in disadvantaged families 😔 often results in low academic achievement, deviant behavior 😵, and even future social problems 😱. Love Xizhi Charity Association mainly provides academic counseling and living support for children of economically disadvantaged single parents, intergenerational and marginalized families 👩‍👧👵🧕🧑‍🍼 to help prevent these children from falling into a cycle of poverty due to a lack of educational resources. 🆙🆙
