Student Wu of Department of Pharmacy, Tajen University

Student Wu’s father could not work due to his chronic kidney disease and dialysis, and his mother changes bed sheets in the hospital for a living. They live in extreme poverty. Wu previously relied on home tutoring to cover his everyday expenses for studying in another city. But he had to put the tutoring job on hold when he started to prepare for the national exam for pharmacists. The Foundation thus offered him long-term sponsorship to cover his expenses so that he could focus on his studies. June this year, he graduated from Department of Pharmacy, Tajen University, passed the national exam for pharmacists and had since secured a job in Great Tree Pharmacy as an assistant pharmacist.
