Li was born with cerebral palsy due to lack of oxygen at birth leading to speech and mobility difficulties and relies on his electric wheelchair. Despite his predicament, Li remains resilient and diligent. The Foundation partially sponsored his new wheelchair so that he could maintain his mobility even after graduating from university.

Li expressed his gratitude with his watercolor painting and a thank you card to show that his dream has come true.
