Student Zhao’s father passed away when Zhao was still young, and her mother became the family breadwinner. Zhao is from a low-income family, so the Foundation provided her with financial support for four years so that she could focus on her studies. Zhao wrote to thank the Foundation for its help which “came like long-waited rain to drought and had allowed her to focus on and complete her studies, thus able and willing to change her environments and conditions.”
