Student Jin, in her fourth year in the Department of Political Science, National Taiwan University, is from the Bunun Tribe. Her mother could not work because of having cancer and their family income was in jeopardy. The Foundation’s inspector advised Jin to sit the civil service exam for indigenous people. The Foundation offered Jin financial support to cover the exam fees and everyday expenses while she prepared for the exam. Jin sent a letter to express her gratitude.
