Amidst the recent wave of low temperatures and the challenges faced by social welfare organizations due to the ongoing pandemic, Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung celebrated its 30th anniversary by joining hands with the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation. Together, they organized the "Evergreen Caring and Warming Up Charity Banquet," inviting around 300 individuals from Centers of Special Needs's St. Coletta Catholic Training Center for Special Need, Changhua County Veterans Service Office, Taichung Cherish Jia-En Caring Association, Chin-Ai elementary school, and Digital Humanitarian Association. The event took place on the 7th at the hotel, aiming to deliver warmth to the community. Following this, Taichung St. Coletta Catholic Training Center for Special Needs presented a spectacular drum performance to enliven the atmosphere. The organizers also celebrated the birthdays of those born in February, cutting a cake and gifting each participant a new ceramic insulated cup bearing a quote from Tagore's "Stray Birds," adding a surprise element to the gathering.

During the banquet, the hotel served signature dishes such as Taiwanese Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Huaiyang Wuxi-style Spare Ribs, Golden Cordyceps Stewed Whole Chicken, and Champion Egg Yolk Pastry, spreading love through gastronomy. The event concluded with a delightful performance by the children from Nantou's original hometown, creating perfect memories for all.

Principal Chan Su-erh of Chin-Ai elementary school mentioned that the hotel not only provided a venue for displaying students' photography works but also invited the children to perform on stage, creating a fantastic platform for them. Pastor Wang Su-chen of Taichung Cherish Jia-En Caring Association shared that the children they care for come from special circumstances, and it was their first time dining in the upscale restaurant of Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung. The event served as encouragement for the children to strive for the future, savor delicious food, and create unforgettable childhood memories.
