Support for the Talent Development Program at The Potential Development Center for Spinal Cord Sufferers
The Potential Development Center for Spinal Cord Sufferers, a non-profit organization, is the only professional institution in the country that provides specialized rehabilitation training for individuals with spinal cord injuries. It offers life reconstruction and vocational skills training services to injury survivors nationwide, helping them overcome the shadows of their injuries and readjust to social life.
Through sponsorship of the talent development program, the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Potential Development Center for Spinal Cord Sufferers, supports the injured individuals by utilizing a camp-style learning model to foster teamwork, proactive thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as identifying suitable career directions. Additionally, they cultivate skills such as management, innovation, design, implementation, marketing, and presentation, assisting the participants in acquiring employable skills.
Chairman Wu Jingming of the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation also visited to show support and encouraged the individuals to move forward courageously, not to give up easily, and assured them that they will surely see the light of success once again.
Chairman Lin Jinxing of the the Potential Development Center for Spinal Cord Sufferers expressed gratitude to the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation for their willingness to invest resources and attention in the spinal cord injury community. He emphasized that the participants, through the center's short-term and intensive training and challenges, as well as through peer competition and motivation, can effectively cultivate their abilities to return to the workplace, regain confidence in facing a new life, and rediscover their own worth.
